Dan is a Registered Principal and Financial Advisor with Brayshaw Financial Group, LLC. After graduating from the University of Massachusetts, he began his financial services career in 1998 with Boston Financial Data Systems. For over twenty years, Dan has passionately worked with others to build financial plans that help position his clients for success in establishing the goals they have created for themselves and their families. He has honed his financial skills at some of the best companies in the industry, including Allianz Life and MetLife.
Dan works diligently on the guidance he provides, and that the decisions he and his clients make together; strives to preserve their financial future coupled with a sense of stability. Creating this relationship allows them to pour more of their mental and emotional capacity into their families, their work, and the things that matter most to them.
Dan knows all too well that concerns over financial well-being can have a huge impact in many other areas of life. He started working and saving early in life, and watched it all vanish while he was in school. This convinced him that understanding finances is a must as concepts like debt, credit, and interest rates became all too real. Dan’s heeded the advice that “you can’t save your way to prosperity”. That perspective changed things for him. He conveys to clients that intentional investing and taking prudent risks is essential to building real wealth.
He holds the FINRA Series 7,24,63, and 65 Licenses as well as Life, Health, and Accident Insurance licenses in NH, MA, RI, CT, and MD.
Dan grew up in Newton, MA in a neighborhood known as “The Lake”, which oddly enough, did not have a lake. He, his wife Andrea, and their three sons live in Bedford, NH where Dan plays in the Bedford Men's Basketball League.
